Zetacast took part in the usual September pilgrimage to Amsterdam for IBC, the International Broadcasting Convention. A total of 52,974 people participated in IBC this year, the largest ever level of attendance. The most prominent themes were Ultra High Definition TV and HEVC coding, while the level of interest in 3DTV had noticeably declined from previous years.

No IBC is complete without parties. This IBC marked the 20th Anniversary of the signing of the original DVB Memorandum of Understanding, in Bonn on 10th September 1993. Zetacast’s Ken McCann and Adriana Mattei were pleased to join the party that was held to celebrate the occasion!
