On September 3rd, Zetacast participated in the European Commission’s workshop on data off-loading. The workshop was a stakeholder meeting to discuss the Commission’s study on the same topic, called “Study on Impact of traffic off-loading and related technological trends on the demand for wireless broadband spectrum”.

The objective of the study is to have a socio-economic assessment of recent technical developments including femto cells that will significantly affect spectrum demand for wireless broadband and the efficient use of spectrum. The full study report can be found here.
