Zetacast continued to support Microsoft at the sixth meeting of the Steering Committee of the Game Console Voluntary Agreement (VA), which was held in Brussels on 5 June 2018. The Steering Committee includes representatives from the European Commission together with the three game console industry signatories: Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony Computer Entertainment.

The European Commission confirmed that the planned Impact Assessment study on the Games Console Voluntary Agreement was still on track to start about September 2018 and last 12 to 18 months. The Consoles VA Independent Inspector (Intertek) gave a presentation on the results of the 2017 Annual Compliance Report, which had been recently published. It determined that the VA Signatories continued to be compliant with all of the VA requirements.
